Discpline

Simply put discipline is hard.   It’s not something that is given to you but it is something that you have to earn.   Like a muscle, If not consistently used you’ll lose it and If not strained it will not grow.   Everyone wants to be disciplined but not many are willing to put the effort in to be disciplined.   Like Hebrews 12:11 says discipline isn’t pleasant at the time but produces peace and righteousness.  Intentionally doing something hard every day will build discipline. Don’t just want to be a disciplined person, BE a disciplined person.

Grace is not something we have to earn, in fact it is not something we even deserve.   Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sins we have been given the gift of grace.  All we have to do is believe to receive it.  To live a life of discipline knowing you are saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ is one the peace, joy, and contentment.
